Manvel EMS is a 911 Emergency Medical Services provider contracted with Brazoria County ESD 3 to respond to 911 EMS calls within the City of Manvel, the City of Iowa Colony, and the surrounding areas of Brazoria County. Manvel EMS covers more than 85 square miles of territory that is populated with approximately 10,000 citizens. Manvel EMS is temporarily located in the Rodeo Palms subdivision and is in the process of building a new, permanent facility.

The Manvel Police Department communications center serves as the dispatch center for Manvel EMS. Calls to 911 are routed through the Brazoria County 911 system to Manvel the Manvel communications center where they are dispatched.

Currently Manvel EMS responds to approximately 1,000 calls each year.
