12/2013 - Manvel completes another record-breaking year answering almost 1,200 calls for service.

8/2013 - Manvel EMS adds three full-time clinical personnel.

12/2012 - Manvel EMS finishes 2012 after having answered more than 1,100 calls for service, marking the busiest year in the organization's history.

7/2011 - Manvel EMS rolls out technology that allows crews to transmit patient EKG reports directly to receiving hospitals.  This allows the recieving physicians to activate cardiac catheterization teams to minimize the time that elapses between the onset of cardiac chest pain to when adequate blood flow is restored to the cardiac muscle in heart attack patients.

1/11/11 - Manvel EMS moves in to our new 10,000 square foot, state-of-the-art station on Masters Road.

6/4/10 - Manvel EMS now provides EMD dispatching.  This allows for pre-arrival instructions to be given to 9-1-1 callers.  Please remember to ALWAYS call 9-1-1 in event of an emergency.  Click HERE for a brochure on EMD or navigate to our links page for additional information.

4/20/10 - Construction activities commence at the site of the new Manvel EMS station.  A ceremonial groundbreaking will be scheduled in the near future

3/26/10 - BCESD No. 3 executes a contract with Construction Masters of Houston for the construction of the new Manvel EMS station.

3/24/10 - Manvel EMS donates a retired MEMS ambulance to Alvin Community College for use in their Emergency Medical Technology Program.

12/14/09 - BCESD No. 3 approves the bid process for the new Manvel EMS building.  Bid packages are scheduled to be released in early January 2010.

12/7/09 - Manvel EMS unveils their new logo which signals the beginning of a nearly year long effort to update and refresh the organization's appearance.
